Jessica Manley, a teacher of the One River School is a New York City based photographer and graduate of The School Of Visual Arts. As a practicing artist of the last ten years, Manley has provoked meaningful discussion through her photography. As a 14 year-old, she began photographing and became inspired to pursue a career in the arts by her high school teacher. The photographer began teaching in 2011 with the intention of sharing her passion for art with others, "I love sharing my passion for photography and love of the arts with others. I think that is the most rewarding aspect for me," said Manley. As an advocate for self expression, the One River teacher continuously helps students find their niche in the art community. When she is not teaching, Manley likes to photograph, visit galleries and travel Europe, where she has exhibited artwork in Barcelona and Vienna.
