Lisa Quinn, an instructor at the One River School received a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Masters of Fine Arts from William Paterson University in Wayne, NJ. Quinn studied mainly printmaking and has a professional background in museum education. During her coursework, she discovered the necessity for public art within suburban communities. Quinn devotes her studio practice to artwork that challenges communities to reevaluate their public art system. The One River teacher specializes in mural painting and linocut prints. Her current body of work is a conjunction of fine art and street art, which has been exhibited in New Jersey and Manhattan. Quinn transmits her passion through teaching studio art to all ages at One River School.
