Ylenia Mino

Ylenia was born at the foot of the Italian Alps in the small town of Ivrea. Since the time when Ylenia was a young girl, she has had a significant interest in art. Every spare moment she had, she dedicated her time to drawing and painting.

At The Art Studio NY, Ylenia brings her artistic expertise coupled with her nurturing, caring spirit to all of her art students. She has a special place in her heart for teaching young children how to express themselves through art. Her patient, engaging personality coupled with her joie de vivre allows her students of all ages–kids and adults alike–to tap into their creative expression successfully, while creating artwork that they are proud of.

As an adult, Ylenia has made art the focus of her professional life. Ylenia feels her “purpose as an artist is to give peace and joy to people through art.” She sees her own oil painting practice as a path to reach and touch the hearts and lives of people. In March 2011, Ylenia debuted as a solo artist at The International Art Expo in New York City. Since then, she has exhibited her artwork internationally in Austria, London, Italy, California, and again in New York.

As a professional artist, she has collaborated with The Lali Roberts Gallery in San Francisco and The New York Online Press. Her paintings have been featured in magazines, including i-Italy and the Brazilian magazine Descubra New York. Ylenia believes in helping, encouraging, and supporting people around the world. She supports many charities and causes, including Compassion International for Children. She hopes this support will help children to improve their life conditions and give them a chance to develop their full potential.
