At the Brainery, Amanda brings lessons and tools from improvement science, psychology, user centered design, and action research to power your personal improvement. As the Senior Researcher at Eskolta School Research and Design, Amanda leads the New York City node of the national Student Agency Improvement Community as well as providing professional learning opportunities across the city. Amanda has a PhD from Columbia in cognitive psychology and has an active second life studying how adolescents make sense of important social issues.

I'm so happy I took the class. It was an eye-opener for me because it made me look at why I tend to procrastinate and lose my motivation when pursuing goals. I'm going to take the second part of the class.
