Christopher Lee Kennedy, Lucia Monge & Chloe Zimmerman

Teaches at Genspace NYC

Christopher Lee Kennedy is an artist and educator who creates site-specific projects that examine conventional notions of ‘Nature’, interspecies agency, and biocultural collaboration. With a background in environmental engineering, Kennedy re-imagines field science techniques and new forms of storytelling to develop embodied research, installations, sculptures, and publications that re-contextualize social-ecological systems. He is currently a Lecturer in Sustainable Systems at The New School University.

Lucia Monge is a Peruvian artist with a background in education and art+science collaborations. Her work explores the way humans position ourselves within the natural world and relate to other living beings, especially plants. For the past eight years she has organized Plantón Móvil,a yearly “walking forest” performance that leads to the creation of public green areas.

Chloe Zimmerman is an artist, writer and educator based in Brooklyn. She is the founder and facilitator of the Mycological Research Playgroup, a collaborative research and production group for artists and environmentalists to learn about and with fungi.
