Ivory Fox is an NYC based handbalancer, aerialist, pole dance champion, and burlesque performer. She has a background is in competitive gymnastics, classical ballet, and theater. Her credits include NY Burlesque Festival, The Orion Experience (Off Bway), The Nick (Cinemax), and more. She performs regularly at The Slipper Room, Duane Park and other NYC nightlife venues. She will perform a trick for a cookie.

It is a "handstand" class. The CourseHorse description that "inverted handstands" would be taught is incorrect. Everyone in the class does perfect or near perfect handstands. As a complete beginner, it can feel awkward at times to not even be able to kick up to a half or partial handstand.

It was a good class but not great for extreme beginners. It moves quickly but it takes time (weeks?) to build up strength. The instructor is very funny and engaging.

Ivory is a amazing instructor. The class is an intense hour with many forms of excise for getting into handstand. As an absolute beginner with no gymnastic foundation, flexibility whatsoever, I left the class feeling optimistic.
