Zoë Bachman & Rebecca Ricks

Teaches at Pioneer Works

Zoë Bachman is currently a graduate student in the Interactive Telecommunications Program at NYU. She’s interested in exploring how we use technology to negotiate power, promote alternative narratives and construct identities. Zoe has taught photography, video, animation and coding and is involved in community organizing and agit-prop creation. She is currently a member of The Illuminator, a guerrilla projection collective.

Rebecca Ricks is a designer, developer, and artist. She completed her master’s degree at NYU’s Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) in 2017 with an emphasis on algorithms and data privacy. Her work focuses on digital duality and how identity is negotiated in digital and physical spaces. Previously, she worked as a researcher and writer in the tech world.
