Charles Jones is a graduate of the Juilliard School and the North Carolina School of the Arts. His major teachers include the late Irwin Freundlich, Clifton Matthews and Seymour Lipkin. Mr. Jones has performed solo and chamber music throughout the Eastern USA as well as in Rome, Italy. He is currently on the faculties of the Abrons Arts Center, the Harlem School of the Arts, where he was assistant chairman of the piano department for several years, as well as the Summerkeys Music Camp for adults in Lubec, Maine.
