Arlene Hutton is best known for Last Train To Nibroc (New York Drama League Best Play nomination). An alumna of New Dramatists and member of Ensemble Studio Theatre, her plays have been produced Off- and Off-Off-Broadway and at theatres across the US, in London, Edinburgh and throughout the world. A three-time winner of the Samuel French Short Play Festival and a six-time finalist for the Actors' Theatre of Louisville Ten-Minute Play contest, Hutton has led her Connections workshop at colleges and conferences around the country, including the Last Frontier Theatre Conference, ATHE, Festival of Faith and Writing, KC/ACTF, the South Carolina Theatre Association conference and as Resident Playwright for Greenville's Center Stage. She has taught at the Sewanee Writers Conference and held residencies at the MacDowell Colony, New Harmony Project and Yaddo. Her scripts are published by Dramatists Play Service, Samuel French, Dramatic Publishing and Playscripts.
