Catherine Despont writes about art, education and philosophy and has always been curious about the intersection between writing and drawing. She holds an MFA in fiction from Columbia University and has taught in France at the École Supérieure des Beaux-arts Mans and for after-school programs of the Parks and Recreation Department of New York. She has written and edited for numerous publications--including the forthcoming issue of Pioneer's own magazine, Intercourse
