John Huth and Alicia Ryan

Teaches at Brooklyn Public Library

John Huth (Inclusive Services Librarian at the Brooklyn Public Library) has worked at BPL since 2012 implementing new inclusive programs and services for teens with disabilities. He collaborates with partners, including schools and community-based organizations, to provide high quality information services to underserved young people. Mr. Huth has extensive experience working with young people with disabilities and in the field of educational technology. In 2014 he presented “Providing Outstanding Service with Assistive Technology” at the New York Library Association conference and “Strategies for Serving Teens and Young Adults with Disabilities” at the Westchester Public Library.

Alicia Ryan (Educational Coordinator at the Morgan Library) has extensive experience working in museum and library education, first as intern at the Intrepid Museum and then as manager of educational initiatives at the Morgan Library. Alicia currently administers the Morgan Library Book Project for with students and teachers from across the greater NYC area.
