Liesbet Boudens was born 1957 in Bruges, Belgium. She specialized in art from age sixteen and trained as an art teacher. She studied painting with Dan Van Severen at Sint-Lucas Art Institute in Ghent. Liesbet currently teaches art in a secondary school in Bruges and teaches workshops in Belgium and abroad.
