Rehana Esmail is a German born New York based independent filmmaker who graduated from The New School in 2013. Her work ranges from poetic cinema to documentary filmmaking while having a particular interest in the relationship between cinema, philosophy and anthropology. Her short film "Loin De Nous" was shown at various film festivals. At the moment she is working in post production of her first feature documentary film.
