Maybe you don’t know anything more than “pizza” and “pasta,” or you’ve taken a decade off. Either way, you’re ready to change that!
Beginner Italian 1 is perfect for you if you're completely new to the language and you want to get the basics down to start speaking conversational Italian.
WHO THIS CLASS IS FOR
Start here if you've never studied Italian before or if you've taken a decade off and need a refresher.
HOW YOU'LL LEARN
With a small group (averaging six students per class and capped at ten), you'll have an opportunity to engage in conversational Spanish with other language learners with realtime feedback from the instructor.
WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
You'll learn the necessary foundation for fluency, such as talking about your friends and hobbies and describing your likes and dislikes. You'll be introduced to basics of reading and writing Italian and number and gender agreement.
WHAT YOU'LL LEAVE WITH
By the end of our level one course, you’ll have the foundation to introduce yourself, order a meal, go shopping, talk about your family and what you do in your free time.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
