Upon successful completion of the Project Management Certificate program, students will:
- Understand Project Management concepts
- Organizational Influences & Project Life Cycle
- Developing your Project Management Plan

- Project Scope, Schedule & Cost Management
- Project Quality, Communications & Risk Management
- Project Procurement, Resource, & Stakeholder Management
- Identify key features of a real world Project Management life cycle
Plus:
- Design a real-world marketing plan and/or project with one-on-one help from a mentor
- One-on-one job search and resume writing assistance with a career coach
Pre-requisites:
- Microsoft Excel Level 1 or equivalent knowledge
- Microsoft Word Level 1 or equivalent knowledge
- Microsoft Powerpoint Level 1 or equivalent knowledge
- Microsoft Outlook Level 1 or equivalent knowledge
*We highly recommend that you have purchased and installed the Microsoft Office Suite before the start of class
How Long Is This Program?
The average length to complete the Project Management Certificate is 6-8 weeks. Total length may vary based on the pace in which you schedule your classes.
Each certificate program allows one year to be completed, but, depending on your pace of learning and skill level, you may move as fast or as slow as you like within that time frame. DWC works on a rolling enrollment system and provides flexible scheduling options so you can choose the classes that best fit your life.
At DWC, each Certificate Program is comprised of many stand-alone classes and a Capstone project. Once you have completed all the necessary course work, you will earn your certificate.
Remote Learning
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.
Refund Policy
- Students not accepted to the school are entitled to all monies paid.
- Students who cancel this contract by notifying the school within 4 business days are entitled to a refund less 5% cancellation fee.
- Students, who withdraw after 4 business days, but before the commencement of classes, are entitled to a full refund of all tuition paid except the maximum cancellation charge of $150.00 or 25% of the contract price, whichever is less.
- In the case of students withdrawing after the commencement of classes, we will retain a cancellation charge plus a percentage of tuition and fees, which is based on the percentage of contact hours attended. The refund is based on the official date of termination or withdrawal.
If you would like to cancel or transfer a class, you must send your request in a written notice via email to [email protected]. Transferring/rescheduling a class registration is equivalent to a cancellation and is treated accordingly.
Cancellation/Re-scheduling of classes by the school
If class enrollment does not meet the minimum requirement of students, the class may be canceled or re-scheduled. Participants will be notified prior to the start of scheduled class, typically with at least 2 days (48 hours) of advance notice.
In the event of a cancellation, students will receive a refund less a 5% non-refundable registration fee, or the paid balance may be applied toward another upcoming class.
All applicable refunds will be made within 30 days from the date of cancellation.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
