32 Hour Supervisor SST Package

In order to continue to operate in the City of New York, the designated construction supervisors are required to complete a minimum number of hours of approved site safety training and to carry site safety identification cards (SST card) as proof of completion of the training (As per New York City Local Law 196 of 2017 also known as ‘LL196’ or ‘Local Law’). This course provides 32 hours towards the satisfaction of that requirement. The other 30 hours are typically obtained by taking the OSHA 30 course.

Training Requirements

• 100% attendance of the class is mandatory
• Full completion of PDH Star registration form
• Actively participate in all course activities
• Achieve a minimum of 70% in the written assessment at the end of the course
• Completion of Evaluation Form at the end of the course

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this course, the student will be able to:

• List supported scaffold types and its major components
• Identify the most common supported scaffold safety hazards
• Protect themselves from supported scaffold safety hazards
• Outline New York City Building Code supported scaffold safety requirements
• Inspect supported scaffolds in accordance with federal and local safety regulations

Make-Up Time: No make-up time is allowed for this course. Students who miss any portion of the course will need to make arrangements with PDH Star to attend another course. Additional course fees may apply.

Is a professional certificate available to students after completing their class?

Yes. Trainees are eligible to apply for the Supervisor SST class provided that thier OSHA 30 card can be verified with issuer. Certificates of Completion for each course will be emailed within 3-5 days after the successful class completion.
