Guests will be greeted and seated in the tasting room to mingle while everyone arrives. During the course, guests will be guided through a SAKE 101 presentation in four parts, first discussing the history and making of sake.
Following that, the instructor will introduce three distinctly different styles of sake, each accompanied by a small bite paired with it.
The aim is to show everyone the versatility of sake in marriage with food, and how that utility and umami goes beyond just sushi or other Japanese foods. These small plates will complement the sake and the mood of the night. Guests will finish with a little sweet sake to toast the end of the night. A great date night that can begin or end at our neighbors, Bare Bottle Brewing Company.
