Social science research has discovered that those with a growth mindset view obstacles as opportunities to learn and those with a fixed mindset view challenges as barriers to avoid. 

A growth mindset allows us to turn life’s setbacks into life’s opportunities. It allows us to take feedback constructively. It allows us to get excited about challenge. Not surprising, a growth mindset is associated with higher achievement and increased wellbeing.
