The Lightroom Classic Library Module - Getting Organized
Lightroom is the industry standard for amateurs and professional photographers alike, for organizing and editing our images. At the heart of this powerful program lies the Library Module where we import, organize, sort, rate and tag our images.
Spend an afternoon with Marie Joabar learning the Lightroom Classic Library Module covering the various options for importing images into your catalog, organizing them in folders, and managing them with a system that keeps your images organized and easy to find.
Beginning with the import dialog, Marie walks you through the various options and best practices for bringing images into your Lightroom catalog. From there she’ll cover how to manage the images and folders, move files, rename folders, and how to get your folder structure set up and easy to work with.
If you have been using Lightroom but want to get your folders more organized, or are brand new to the program, this is a good place to start. You'll leave the class with a solid understanding of how the database system works in LR and how you can go forward with an organization system you can build on.
Bonus offering - A review of the course as well as other features of the LR Library will be covered in pre-recorded videos that students can watch at their own convenience. The information for viewing the videos will be given to you at the in-person class and students will have access to them for 90 days.
The videos offer a complete review of what was covered at the class in addition to viewing options, rating, key-wording, sorting and searching, as well as looking at the preferences options and catalog settings.
They will also cover the practical use of collections and how to create them, how to watermark your images and how to export images for various purposes.
