Omar Delarosa has spent his career solving problems for education and media companies using technology. When he's not writing code, he writes songs and plays guitar in an indie rock band. Chelsea Byers' road to General Assembly and the NYC startup community began with a love for the challenge of teaching and learning, and helping people to be their best selves. Before coming to GA she spent several years as a Teach For America math teacher in inner-city Oakland, CA. Chelsea then went to London to earn a masters in quantitative analysis from the London School of Economics, where she also helped to train teachers and develop curriculum for a flagship outreach program at University College London. She then followed this line of work to Hong Kong and Italy. Chelsea initially joined General Assembly as a recruiter for the Web Development Immersive program, and now manages training and instructor development. When not wonking out about startup or education ideas she enjoys Karate, horse riding, and listening to science fiction audiobooks.
