Molly Ford Beck is an accomplished marketer, an industry speaker, and a popular blogger. Over the course of her career, Molly has worked in a variety of industries providing branding, partnership, social media (paid and organic), and email strategy for web properties and apps in both the B2B and B2C space. Some of her roles have included: leading brand marketing at Venmo, developing content and PR strategies at Hearst, refining e-commerce monetization strategies in an agency role, helping launch a Facebook application for Monster.com, and mentoring start-ups in the media space.
Molly also created what Forbes called the "super successful lifestyle site" Smart, Pretty & Awkward. As a blogger, Molly has been syndicated in Parade Magazine and also wrote a 10-column series for the Daily Muse focused on career advice. Besides her role as instructor for General Assembly's Digital Marketing Program, Molly has also taught blogging-specific workshops at General Assembly for over a year.
Molly has spoken at Columbia University, New York Start-up Institute, Social Media Week, and various private corporate events. Her work have been featured or quoted in the Boston Globe, Redbook, Huffington Post, InStyle UK, Forbes, Parade, Daily Muse, and more. Academically, Molly has an undergraduate degree in Business with a concentration in Entrepreneurship, and a Masters in International Marketing Management.
When she's not working, Molly loves taking improv classes at UCB, reading all the non-fiction books she can get her hands on, and finding the perfect crepe.
