Sam’s background in Industrial Design, coupled with his passion for technology, allows him to bring a unique blend of creative, strategic, production, and entrepreneurial skills to his work. As part of Deutsch’s product and platform team, Sam facilitates user-centered thinking across campaigns, products, and platforms. His current work is focused on helping clients such as Zillow, Anthem, and TacoBell solve complex business problems by providing new and innovative service based solutions. Previous notable clients include Google, ESPN, 72andSunny.
His work has been recognized by The One Show, The Webby’s, The Industrial Design Society of American, Fast Co., The Verge, TIME, Fortune, Engadget, and even tweeted about by the White House.
Sam also holds a position as Adjunct Instructor of Product Design at the University of Oregon and travels there annually to teach immersive workshops geared towards teaching Industrial Designers foundational principles of User Experience Design.

Patrick Dohan is a user-centered design strategist that specializes in digital products, services, and experiences. His approach revolves around the application and intersection of cognitive psychology, user experience design, and technology. This lends to his focus on achieving an empathetic understanding of the user journey across all projects on which he works. Through this process, he endeavors to create the right interactions at the right moments, across both mobile and desktop experiences, to successfully alleviate user needs and shift behaviors. Patrick has led product and platform strategies for wide range of companies including Zillow, Taco Bell, Sprint, Anthem, Avvo, Chase Bank, and Experian. Most recently, he worked as the strategy lead on the Anthem online shopping platform, Answer Financial Mobile App, and the Taco Bell online ordering service.
