Teaches at General Assembly

Annelise is a UX designer and published psychology researcher with experience designing for state government, non-profits, and small businesses. She is currently applying her skills in user research at Oculus VR in Redmond, WA.

Before journeying into the world of UX, she earned an M.A. in Human Development from Washington State University and worked as a prevention science researcher studying the health effects of animal-assisted therapies for at-risk youth.

When she’s not advocating for universal design, you can find her playing Mario Kart, catching a show, or searching for the best snacks in Seattle.
