Arun Ahuja is currently a Data Scientist at Integral Ad Science (formerly AdSafe Media) where he investigates advertiser effectiveness and webpage classification for optimizing ad placement using machine learning and the Hadoop ecosystem. Previously, Arun was at Northwestern University where he researched probabilistic graphical models and their applications in Information Retrieval and NLP. This research was eventually published in top-tier conferences and journals. Before joining Integral he spent time at Morgan Stanley in the Electronic Trading and Real Time Applications group. Arun graduated from Northwestern University with an MS in Computer Science and BS in Computer Science and Mathematics.
