Beginner Glass Painting

Come learn the skill of painting on glass with Reusche glass paints. This class will cover the basics including tools needed to get started, how to mix paint, and how to matte, trace, flood and highlight to create vibrant works of stained glass. No previous painting or glass experience required. Each student will have the chance to paint their own 6x6” square that will be theirs to keep. Choose from available designs provided by the instructor, or come ready with your own idea.

Painting will be done in class, but to make the paint permanent the glass will need to be fired in a kiln by the instructor. You will be contacted a few days after class when your painting is ready to be picked up.

Note: Due to the nature of glass paint, it is strongly encouraged that students refrain from eating or drinking while participating in the class.

Safety/Liability: Minimum age requirement is 16 years old. Sharp glass, lead and chemicals will be used and proper handling techniques will be discussed upon arrival. By registering and paying for this class, you do hereby release us and instructor Day Kennedy from any liability for bodily injuries sustained, or for loss or damage to any personal property while on the premises and/or while participating in any activity hosted by us and instructor Day Kennedy.
