Led by a renowned macro photography author and podcaster, this course provides real-world techniques for creating beautiful photographs with basic equipment. While a dedicated macro lens is certainly useful, you will discover numerous alternative methods for achieving true close-up perspectives. Students complete weekly photo assignments throughout the course, culminating in a detailed photo review session conducted during the final class meeting. The course emphasizes a creative "what if?" mindset that treats mistakes and unexpected results as valuable opportunities within the creative process.
