Kids Life Skills Classes in Washington, DC

This course will cover the three things we can do to fight elder fraud together. In this session, you will learn common elements scam artists use, resources to learn about ongoing scams and ways to help our community to fight these scammers.

Do you love to draw clothes? Thinking about becoming a fashion designer? Join us for this iPad workshop to draw your latest fashion ideas. You will either animate them or add them to iMovie to create a narrated fashion show. 

Do you love to draw super heroes? Join us and create your very own short animated super hero story. You will learn the basics of animation, get some pointers on drawing super heroes and put it all together to make your own original animation. 

This is a great fun way to learn the basics of hand sewing while still having a blast. Hand sewing is an invaluable skill that too often goes overlooked when teaching basic life skills. Students work on a pillow of an initial of their choice.
