What you'll learn in this japanese cooking class:

Ramen Team-Building is a fun activity that achieves 3 goals for off-site corporate events:

build the team
everyone can learn the ramen making technique to take home
they get dinner!

Besides, weather can’t affect the event and it can also be done at your office!

We have been teaching how to make Ramen for a few years after creating it at our restaurant. As we have mastered on teaching how to make Ramen, we decided to bring it into the corporate team-building activity addition to our Sushi Team-building.

With our experience working in the corporate world, we started to offer sushi team-building way before anyone else, having started 12 years ago. Now it's time to do Ramen as well.

This is a 3-hour hands-on activity. It's designed to be an exciting, fun, and true “team-building” experience revolving around creating delicious sushi together as a team (not just cooking) in an Iron Chef competition-like setting.

The winning team will receive 1 bottle of premium Sake!

Here is the agenda of the event:

First, all of you will knead the dough to make noodles.
While the dough is resting, we will serve you samples of 4 different types of ramen: Tonkotsu Ramen (Kyushu, Nagahama), Miso Ramen (Sapporo), Shoyu Ramen (Tokyo), and Tantan-men (Chinese)
While you enjoy the samples, I will talk about history, regional differences, trend in Japan etc.
Next, you will learn how to make Kaeshi
Then, you will be divided into smaller teams to make ramen as a team.
We will judge the winning team by presentation, taste, and how much Japanese each team members remember.
Finally, everyone will make your own Ramen then sit down and enjoy it!

Instructor is professional, licensed and insured!

Note:
Wear closed toe shoes and clothes that can get dirty. Bring bento boxes (take out containers) to take food home.

Important:

A minimum of 16 people and maximum of 30 with a price of $130 each person.
