What is your proudest accomplishment?
I think my proudest moments occurred while flying medical evacuation sorties as a Navy helicopter pilot.  To be able to say, definitively, that I was a part of a crew that saved somebody's life and that person is around today because I did my job, that's humbling.
 
What do you love about teaching? 
Everything.  It's meant to be organized but it's often messy, which can be fun.  It's where discovery happens, even for the teacher.  It's personal.  And the people that do it really well are the ones that really care about the person on the receiving end.

Which movie/TV character would do best on the GMAT? 
Mark Watney, lead character in The Martian.  The guy figured out how to life hack Mars.  I think he is your prototype of a GMAT problem solver.
