TV/Film Intensive with Allison Kirschner, Casting Associate, Gayle Keller Casting
Working alongside Gayle Keller in one of NYC's busiest casting offices, Allison's casts for TV series, films and indie features.
Her projects include working on the final season of WHAT WE DO IN THE SHADOWS (F/X) and a comedy feature for NETFLIX / HAPPY MADISON starring Amy Schumer.
Allison's credits include: the Iliza Shlesinger Comedy Sketch series for NETFLIX, INSIDE AMY SCHUMER, GOTHAM (Season 1), LOUIE (Seasons 4 & 5), THE WHO WAS SHOW (Netflix), THE DETOUR, MAN SEEKING WOMAN, HOUSE OF CARDS (Season 1), CRASHING (Season 1, 2 & 3), the Woody Allen Feature IRRATIONAL MAN, & MAGIC IN THE MOONLIGHT, Indie features THE GOOD CATHOLIC and MS. WHITE LIGHT, the Judd Apatow feature THE KING OF STATEN ISLAND and the Amazon feature THE BIG SICK.
The event will start off with an informative virtual Q&A, followed by your presentation of the scene with a reader in a group. Be prepared to take feedback and adjustments.
Allison is always interested in meeting new talent - all types - all ethnicities - all ages (14+).
This class is for adults and teens (14+).
(Teens and Parents: Please note that some scenes/discussions will have adult language, themes and situations and you must be okay with this to take intensive.)
WHAT TO PREPARE:
- For this intensive, Allison will select sides for you to prepare based on your headshot and fully completed MY INFO section in your AC account.
- Assignments will be emailed 1-3 days in advance.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

Class end time will vary depending on the number of actors and the scenes that are assigned. Registrants are advised to budget extra time, as class time may run over.
