In this seven-hour workshop, you’ll get hands-on practice learning to code with this year’s most in-demand language, Python. We’ll start with the basics like navigating a code editor and creating basic Python programs, then learn to use Python for things like storing and manipulating data in lists and dictionaries, creating conditional statements and writing code to complete repetitive tasks.Once you’ve got the basics down, we’ll move on to using Python for data analysis with custom functions and using the csv module. And, most importantly, you’ll get practice with navigating common Python errors and debugging your code.By the end of this workshop, you’ll be confident with the basics of Python programming and have a solid foundation to keep building on. You might even be inspired to pursue a software engineering career with your new skills. Please Note: Registration for this workshop will close 48 hours before the scheduled start date.
