Allison  Arthur  May, MEd, has been a Professor and Clinical Supervisor at Monroe College since 2014. Previously, she was the Director of Elementary Literacy Achievement at Public Prep Network Charter Schools, NYC and Director of Curriculum & Instruction at Chatham Day School, Chatham, NJ. She has also been a Student Teacher Supervisor at Teachers College, Columbia University and a PreK - 8 classroom teacher in a variety of elementary schools in NY, NJ and OH. Allison is currently working towards an Ed.D. in Adult Learning & Leadership at Teachers College, Columbia University. She holds an Ed.M. in Curriculum and Teaching from Teachers College, Columbia University and an M.Ed. in Elementary Education, with a concentration in Science/Environmental Education from Antioch New England, in Keene, NH. Her B.A. is in Philosophy and the Political Thought/Environmental Studies from Muhlenberg College in Allentown, PA.
