Teaches at Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Center

Karuna is a graduate of the Sivananda Yoga Health Educator Program and is certified with IAYT. She currently works as a Clinical Yoga Therapist with patients who experience major mental disorders, trauma and addiction at a Penn Medicine Princeton House outpatient center. She is passionate about the yogic teachings and is an avid practitioner herself in her own practice. She has a MA in East West Psychology from CIIS and a BA in Psychology from UCSD. She is currently studying Sanskrit, taking guitar classes for Bhajans, and learning Ayurveda and more on her free time The Sivananda Yoga Health Educator Training (SYHET) is an 800-hour Yoga Therapy program accredited by the International Association of Yoga Therapists
