Lisa Wang has meditated for the past six years and has studied with various Theravada, Zen, and Tibetan teachers. Currently she is a Tibetan Buddhist practitioner and leads a weekly practice group in the city. She has a bachelors degree in religious studies with a focus on Buddhism and is currently a medical student at NYU School of Medicine.

Intro to Meditation

Lisa Wang was a great instructor. I could feel the effects of her mediation practice in her demeanor and presentation. Unfortunately coursehorse advertised the class to be from 10:30-12:30 but it actually ended at 12. Would like to take a part 2 but feel like the description needs to be more accurate about the time.

The instructor was great. It was very interactive but the class was 30 minutes shorter than advertised. I think this is a reflection of coursehorse and not the class itself. Would go again but feel like partial compensation should be refunded due to error.
