Jamie Reynolds is a freelance jazz pianist in New York City. He teaches group piano and private jazz piano and composition lessons at 92nd Street Y. Jamie is very active on the jazz scene and performs regularly with some of New York's finest musicians. He has toured across Canada and the United States and Europe and can be heard regularly in clubs around the city. Jamie’s current projects include a suite of songs based on the poetry of Anne Sexton, in collaboration with the vocalist and composer Laila Salins, a quartet with the innovative Canadian saxophonist Tara Davidson, and an original music trio whose first record will appear in the summer of 2011. Jamie received a Bachelor of Music with honors in jazz performance from the University of Toronto.
