Join us for semi private wheel throwing serious fun!
This Intensive week long “adult clay camp” focuses on basic wheel throwing techniques. Beginners will learn the fundamentals of throwing while more advanced students will review their techniques and target their difficulties while challenging themselves with new shapes and sizes. The glazing class will meet one week, to a few weeks later.
This 15-hour program is the perfect class for beginners and intermediate level students who would like to learn or perfect their skills on the potter’s wheel, in a short time period.
Evening Wheel Throwing Intensive will meet twice a week for 2 weeks while Day Time Wheel Throwing Intensive will meet 4 times in one week or twice a week for 2 weeks. An additional 3 hours glazing workshop will be provided, to allow participants to glaze their creations.
The Wheel throwing classes will take place in our outdoor heated studio.
Price includes includes clay, glazes and firing, but participants should bring their own individual tool kit, apron and towel to each class. Pottery tool kit is required and can be purchased on the first day of class for $15 (before sales tax).
