Watercolor Brush Lettering

Great class, we covered the whole alphabet in both upper- & lower-case, with some time at the end to experiment with bounce lettering & blending colours. Thank you!

The instructor was knowledgable, friendly and encouraging. It would be nice to receive a spare set of practice sheets to take home.

Really enjoyed this class. Learned the basics that I was looking for.

- Instructor was well informed and an expert in the content - Facilities were well stocked with high quality supplies - Execution, in general, was smooth - The curriculum could have been structured more effectively, including spending time on the compilation of the information shared (ex. Here are the letters.... but how do you connect them?) - Feedback seemed harsh at times - this is a comment about the personality of the instructor. It wasn't enough to prevent me from enjoying the class, but it did change the environment in the room. - I would have liked to have a full alphabet and maybe extra worksheets to practice at home

I have to be honest, I really did not enjoy this class. I was beyond excited to go, and I went alone. My classmates were friendly and the tools provided were helpful. Despite all the foundations for a great class, the instructor was horrible. She was awkward, condescending and her feedback was rather nasty. This was supposed to be a FUN, Saturday activity. I PAID to attend, and the instructor tried to discipline me when I was looked at an alternative font up on my phone. She told me if I need other options I need to look at the book on the table. I'm sorry, what is FREE about a class that I paid to attend? This was not a calligraphy course with a certificate or a test at the end. Her attitude was awful and did not match the setting. She snubbed some people but was nice to others. I was so beyond uncomfortable. She also critiqued me from her seat at the head of the table but did not do the same to others, calling my errors out outloud. I don't understand what her issue was with me, but it was apparent and not ok. I've never met this woman before and she treated me bizarrely. Not to mention, she did not give us enough time to print the alphabet and added in some floral border at the end instead which had nothing to do with the course. I was so uncomfortable I left before taking a group pic. I looked her up on instagram after and she posted saying it was her first class. Regardless, she was beyond unprofessional and shouldn't be allowed to teach.
