What you'll learn in this vocal class:

In these workshops, we will explore the powerful and compelling process of bringing our text from the passionate expression of feeling to the dynamic clarity of articulate speech.

Clear communication balances the desire to speak – and the need to share the feelings behind that desire – with a clear thought process. Through exercises that open the breath and the body, we will bring to life the sensory connections between the energy centers in our bodies and the articulating muscles and surfaces of our mouths.

In each workshop, we will:

Explore the free release of emotions through the vowels
Clarify our specific thoughts through a more tactile connection to consonants
Bring our discoveries on to an exploration of text

These workshops are designed for actors, performers, professionals – anyone with the desire to speak more clearly and with greater freedom.

Prepare some text that you love – or bring in something from a talk you have to give – and join us in developing your ability to express clear and articulate thought.

Refund Policy

Enrollment fees for classes and workshops are refundable 2 business days prior to the first class or workshop session. A 5% processing fee will be applied towards refund requests.
There are no refunds or credits thereafter, unless the school cancels the class or workshop.

If a studio space is closed due to inclement weather and the closure affects a class or workshop, a refund for that particular session’s prorated cost will be offered, or an alternate meeting date and location will be offered to make up for the missed session. Otherwise, no refunds or credits will be given for any missed class or workshop sessions.

No makeup classes or workshops are offered.

The school reserves the right to change teachers for its classes and workshops at any time and without advance notice.

As fellow professionals and artists, we ask that you try to always arrive on time and ready to work.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
