Build on the skills in Level 1 by learning how to write a fully-fledged sketch revue as an ensemble. This class is for anyone interested in learning how to collaboratively produce their own sketch show from scratch.
We’ll create game and character-based comedy through improv, writing, and re-writing as we work toward a fully-realized show to debut on the Mainstage at Eris.
Prerequisite:
Completion of BCC Level 1 Sketch OR students who have taken at least one full-length sketch course at a major comedy theater (UCB, PIT, Magnet, Squirrel, Second City, iO, Annoyance, etc.) or have similar prior training can begin at this level. Please write your prior experience in the form when registering.
Class payments are non-refundable.
In the event you have to drop a class before it begins and give us at least 8 business days notice, we can credit your tuition toward a future class.
In the event a class fails to meet a minimum number of sign-ups (6 enrollments), students will be notified by email and given the option to transfer into another class, keep a class credit on the books, or offered a full refund - whichever is preferable to the student.
In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
