Intro to Radio Podcasting
Reviewed by Bettina P. on 7/24/2017
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am very disappointed. I did not actually have an experience. I showed for class on the first day early only to be told that the class was not at the listed address(Brooklyn Library, Main Branch). I was at the New Lots branch. I had to get on another train and ride 25 minutes. I commuted from New Jersey, by the way. So I get to the New Lots location and the instructor ask to see my confirmation. I show him and he informs me that although my confirmation stated that I was enrolled and that the class was free, the class is actually $50.
That wasn't the biggest issue. He then tells me that I have to leave because I am not a Brooklyn resident.
I really would like to be placed in another class for podcasting to compensate me for my time and energy.

I was clumsy with the wire and cutting at first, but with Ms. Alicia's patient and friendly manner of teaching, and giving us individual attention, that soon went away.
I left with a beautiful chain (MY creation, effort and energy!) and showed it off at work on Monday.
Looking forward to another class with Ms. Alicia.
Thank you.

The class was great, however coursehorse listed the class as FREE, which is was not.
Additionally, when I showed up I hadn't actually been enrolled, which makes me wonder why I bothered signing up through coursehorse...
this has happened to me before. User beware, maybe sign up at the actual website of the course.

I was hoping for a bit more human interaction... The course was facilitated by an online tutorial so there was no need to attend in person.
Albeit it was a beautiful trip to the Brooklyn library!!
The course was listed to end at 6pm.
At 5:50 the instructor abruptly explained we had to leave "Now" because the library was closing - it was a bit awkward.
It would be a bit smoother If the ending time was listed earlier vs at closing time of library

The class was great, the Volunteers were knowledgeable. The only thing I would suggest is that there should be a more structured approach to the practice session.

The class was excellent. The class size was perfect and the instructor was able to give individual attention to anyone who needed it. She presented the instructions clearly and even used diagrams to illustrate steps. She showed patients and was very personable. I would definitely recommend and take another class with her.
