Certifications: 500-Hour Kripalu Yoga Instructor (KYT); 500 RYT; Georgetown University Leadership Coaching certification; Certificate in Health and Wellness Coaching from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. Professional Affiliations: Kripalu Center for Yoga & Health, Yoga Alliance Provides: A variety of yoga styles, but is most passionate about those styles that promote safe, healthy aging. She also teaches meditation, and brings yoga and meditation to corporate settings through Dream's Corporate Yoga program. Catha began practicing yoga in 2003 and has taught since 2011. She left her 23-year corporate life behind to focus full time on her love for helping others through yoga. Catha believes in the importance of yoga in healthy aging –physically, emotionally and spiritually. Yoga has calmed, healed and rejuvenated her throughout life’s ups and downs. So she's passionate about sharing yoga as a means for others to experience these same benefits. Catha has also trained and practiced as a Life and Leadership Coach. She discovered that there is tremendous synergy between Kripalu style yoga and coaching: Both promote self-awareness and self-discovery as means to profound transitions and transformation. They both provide the tools to help us better cope and even thrive in our fast-paced, chaotic, technology-driven world.
