Susan Maneechai

Teaches at Dream Yoga Studio & Wellness Center

Susan Maneechai is a 200 Hour RYT (Registered Yoga Teacher)with the national Yoga Alliance. She provides: Group yoga instruction for teens and adults, including seniors. Private instruction for beginning or returning yoga students. ** Susan began her yoga journey in 2004 after encountering a studio owner while walking her dog. After 12 years in a hot yoga room, Susan decided to explore other styles (and temperatures) of yoga, which ultimately led her to becoming a yoga teacher. Her goal is to make yoga accessible to all people to reduce stress and anxiety, and provide the means to better connect with the body. *** Teaching has always been incorporated in Susan’s life. After graduating with a B.S. in Family Studies, Susan worked as a community mental health counselor assisting clients in learning basic life skills. She then switched to the animal welfare field, first caring for animals before teaching humane education to D.C. school children. After her own two children entered elementary school, Susan earned her M.A. in English and Secondary Education licensure and taught in Fairfax County. ** A new teacher to Dream Yoga, she is excited to share her love of yoga with all who come to Dream.
