Florent is a strategy consultant with a passion for cognitive sciences and decision-making. He loves to think about what makes people tick: How do they decide to buy a pair of sneakers, to get married or to launch a merger? How can we influence and improve their decision making process, whether in their personal or professional life?
After teaching decision sciences in a French business school for several years, he left the bliss of the ivory tower for the sound and fury of the business world. He has since been a consultant for a French consultancy, Carles & Associates. He has worked for companies in a wide range of sectors, including luxury, nonprofit and agriculture. Since 2015, he has been the managing consultant for the US office of Carles & Associates, located in Los Angeles.
Florent has a PhD in behavioral economics and a Master's degree in econometrics from the Sorbonne University in Paris.
