Nicole Wood
I'm the CEO and co-founder of Ama La Vida, an innovative coaching company which helps people to achieve both deep fulfillment and phenomenal success in their careers. I'm a Project Entrepreneur 2018 alum and a graduate of 1871's WiSTEM Cohort 7 accelerator for female tech founders.

I firmly believe that life is too short to just let things happen to you. One of my greatest goals is to inspire our clients truly take the reins and become intentional about what they want from their lives and careers.

With a background in management consulting at PricewaterhouseCoopers, I bring a new level of rigor, process and results-orientation to the coaching industry. At Ama La Vida, working with a coach isn’t just about feeling great in your sessions – it’s about making lasting changes in your life after your session is over.

I’ve been featured in publications like Fortune, Bustle, Glassdoor and CNBC, as a thought-leader in things like crafting rewarding careers and creating a company culture which fosters innovation and honors individuality. As determined as I am to help our clients love their lives, I’m equally determined to help ALV staff and coaches do the same. Every single person who joins our team is helping us build a truly one-of-a-kind coaching company, and I work tirelessly to ensure that company is a wonderful place to work.

I'm passionate about supporting women in the workplace and helping to develop emerging leaders into great ones. I welcome opportunities to speak at companies and conferences on these topics.

Foram Sheth
My name is Foram Sheth and I'm a co-founder and certified coach at Ama La Vida. As the lead of ALV’s corporate coaching practice, I am focused on working with Millennials to increase engagement, reduce turnover and help high potentials prepare to be the next generation of leaders. I have found success by leveraging my consulting background of driving results through data while combining my strengths of empathy and individuality.

As an expert on leadership coaching and Millennials, I’ve been featured in publications such as CNBC, the Chicago Tribune, Yahoo, MSN, Glassdoor, Bustle, Glamour, INC, Monster and Zenefits.

I’m deeply passionate about working with underprivileged women for equal opportunity and education. On a global level, I aspire to build a future with Ama La Vida where coaching is accessible to people of all age groups and socioeconomic status.

Before Ama La Vida, I launched my career in healthcare consulting. During my consulting years, I learned the importance of data, results, process and consistency. While I never lost that focus on structure and data, I realized that a career in coaching was more aligned my desire to create tailored solutions which would make a lasting impact on my clients. With that realization, I left everything I knew to pursue what I love.

On a personal note, I was born and raised in India until the age of nine. My family and I moved to the US so that my brother and I could have a better education and access to more opportunities. Adjusting to our new life in the United States, I watched my parents sacrifice a comfortable life for a struggling one. We knew no English, we had no money, and we left everything we knew and loved behind to start all over again. During this time, I quickly learned the lessons of hard work and resilience, characteristics that embody who I am.

It was good but a 3-hour class would be best to cover more ground.
