Whether you are interested to learn basic brush lettering skills or to find new ways to take your watercolor skills further, join our two session Watercolor Brush Lettering WebJam. In this fun and colorful workshop you will learn lettering skills with endless possibilities for card making, gift tags, wall art, and more!

In this two session WebJam, you will:

• Learn how to work with a water brush and watercolors
• Learn how to mix shades of watercolors
• Practice eight basic strokes
• Practice writing the alphabet
• Practice writing words and phrases
• Make a final composition using a postcard or other paper

This class is beginner-friendly; no experience necessary!

Suggested supplies:

• Assorted Watercolors (we love Kuretake Gansai Tambi Japanese Watercolors)
• Watercolor paper (extra scrap paper for practicing techniques)
• 1 Pentel Arts Aquash Water Brush, Medium Brush, Medium Point Tip
• 1 Pentel Arts Aquash Water Brush, Medium Brush, Fine Point Tip
• Paint Palette
• CraftJam Watercolor Brush Lettering Workbook PDF (sent with confirmation email)

And this is how a WebJam works:

After you purchase your ticket, you will receive an email with a custom URL link to join. You will be able to add the event to your calendar. Reminder emails will be sent 2 hour and 45 minutes prior to the start. Make sure to login 10 minutes before the WebJam starts to avoid technical difficulties that may delay you.

You have the option to use video and audio to participate. It’s nice to enable video so we can all see each other's faces and projects!
