Question from Kimberley J.
Is this $80 class considered a DROP IN CLASS? Can anything get produced in a drop in class or better yet, can the student finish something in one class. For example, if I were to take a sculpture class and at the end I have a sculpture but the teacher says, "come back next week and learn how to make the sculpture walk in a movie." Then I would feel satisfied with my accomplishment but want to learn more. I just want to know what gets "finished" at the end of a drop in class.
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
Hi Kimberley! For DROP-IN students (signing up for a single class), please keep in mind you may need more time to complete a class assignment, then one 2 hour class allows. As art is an expressive medium and we don't recommend rushing a project just to get it finished, it may need more time to evolve so with the nature of all creative exercise- we do not guarantee that you will finish a project in one session. It also depends on the medium, for example, oil painting takes a lot longer than acrylic painting, but also certain subjects might require further investigation. If you have a more serious interest in art or have more set goals of what you are trying to achieve, or if you're trying to build your skills we highly recommend that you to sign up for a FULL session so you can truly benefit from learning the proper skills for your chosen discipline.

Question from cbb b.
Hi, I had a question about this class. I notice there’s a 5-week course or just one. Are the ones on June 10,17,24 etc a series? So if my son likes the first class, do the others build on that? Unfortunately, the classes in July will not work for us so wanted to check about the June classes.
Answer from Brenda L. CourseHorse StaffCourseHorse Staff
During Summer we offer shorter sessions in all our classes, and they are offered in monthly PKGS (June- July-August) Hence there are only 3 sessions left in June. You would need at least a few sessions to learn this media, as we cannot possibly cover all in one drop in class. The first session would be a basic introduction, for more serious students or for students who are interested in learning this skill properly we advise signing up for a full session, that way you can get a handle on designing characters, sequencing, color correction, making titles, etc You are welcome to sign up for the rest of the sessions in June.
