Description

What you'll learn in this meisner class:

The workshop will focus on freeing the instrument through Linklater voice work, while simultaneously freeing the actor through the Meisner technique.

Linklater Meets Meisner will explore the symbiotic relationship between the work of Kristin Linklater and Sanford Meisner. Particular focus will be placed on the natural rhythm of impulse, breath, and response, and how that rhythm is the gateway to exciting spontaneity. By combining instinctive spontaneity with vocal freedom, the actor becomes actively truthful and compelling. This workshop will give you a fresh, new way to make your acting unpredictable, dynamic, and arresting.

Refund Policy

Enrollment fees for classes and workshops are refundable 2 business days prior to the first class or workshop session. A 5% processing fee will be applied towards refund requests.
There are no refunds or credits thereafter, unless the school cancels the class or workshop.

If a studio space is closed due to inclement weather and the closure affects a class or workshop, a refund for that particular session’s prorated cost will be offered, or an alternate meeting date and location will be offered to make up for the missed session. Otherwise, no refunds or credits will be given for any missed class or workshop sessions.

No makeup classes or workshops are offered.

The school reserves the right to change teachers for its classes and workshops at any time and without advance notice.

As fellow professionals and artists, we ask that you try to always arrive on time and ready to work.

In any event where a customer wants to cancel their enrollment and is eligible for a full refund, a 5% processing fee will be deducted from the refund amount.
