KHH | Kelly Horrigan Handmade creates quality jewelry, one-of-a-kind leather accessories and wall totems that combine old world techniques with experimental finishes and modern aesthetic. Pieces are designed and hand crafted using high quality leather, hand cast metals, semi-precious stones, antique beads, feathers, vintage hardware and found objects. We exist to empower women to express themselves through beautiful, unique adornments that represent their strength and individuality.
Kelly Horrigan Handmade was created in response to mass produced commercial fashion. Intent on reintroducing handmade, quality products in limited production. KHH makes sustainable choices by using materials that are produced in a way that minimizes harm to the environment. Each piece is created by hand using a minimum of 80% repurposed leather.
KHH Studio offers a variety of leather-based workshops geared toward students of all skill levels. Learn traditional hand crafting techniques used to produce beautiful creations utilizing natural and repurposed materials. KHH studio workshops foster a supportive learning environment that is inspirational and fun!
About the Designer:
Kelly Horrigan is a Brooklyn based leather artisan, fashion designer and educator. She earned her BFA in fashion design and has been a professor at Pratt Institute since 2000. Kelly has taught leather craft, jewelry workshops, sandal making, sewing construction, computer-aided design and fashion design. Her work has been worn by Janet Jackson, Steven Tyler, Debbie Harry and featured in the pages of the Fader, Surface, Vogue.com, Style.com, The New York Times and seen on Transparent, NBC’s The Voice, Here! and Bravo TV.

One of the best workshop I ever took. Kelly is extremely well equipped with not only all the materials and tools needed to accomplish incredible pieces, but her personality, knowledgeable, patience and creativity is incredible. She catered to all of us simultaneously and guided us through a mesmerizing experience. She made sure we all achieved our project to the last details and walked out of her studio with our own very special unique piece and a pretty strong feeling of pride for having made it. Wall Totem from Nature
I loved this class! Kelly combined spirituality and artistic leather techniques to create this beautiful class. She helps you to feel confident in your choices of materials to create your wall totem and lends her expertise when you're just really unsure hehe. As a creative person with little time for a true outlet, Kelly's classes have been empowering to just disconnect for a few hours and enjoy making something beautiful with my own 2 hands. I can't recommend her classes enough. She is a wonderful teacher with an even more wonderful heart! -

I loved this class! Kelly is a great teacher: organized, supportive, helpful, detail oriented and inspiring! It's hard to believe at the start of class that you will leave with something so intricate and beautiful! I will most likely take this class a second (maybe a third) time because its 1) an amazing deal 2) super fun and 3) there are so many projects and materials to choose from. You leave the class having learned so much but also with an incredible piece made from ethically sourced materials that are beautiful. -
