Breastfeeding is easy right? Yes! For many women, it is. But there are some common pitfalls to avoid. If you are prepared with what to look out for from the first moments to first days, you have a much higher likelihood of ease with breastfeeding and a plentiful milk supply.
This class helps new families to become familiar with the basics of breastfeeding in the early days and weeks after birth. Partners encouraged to attend!
Price is per couple.
Topics covered will include:
Our live and interactive courses are for those who are looking for the same interactive experience as our classroom setting, but in the comfort of your own home. Participants join a Zoom classroom and are encouraged to share their audio and video for Q&A.
Have ready a newborn doll or stuffed animal and a breastfeeding pillow or a few pillows. Couples are asked to join from a single desktop, laptop, tablet or phone if they are in the same location.
This course is available for "remote" learning and will be available to anyone with access to an internet device with a microphone (this includes most models of computers, tablets). Classes will take place with a "Live" instructor at the date/times listed below.
Upon registration, the instructor will send along additional information about how to log-on and participate in the class.

The school highly recommend that students schedule any prenatal classes or workshops to end by the time they are 36 weeks pregnant. If they schedule class for after they begin their 36th week, they run the risk of having their baby and missing their class without a refund. In the event that they go into labor before 36 weeks, they may apply 90% of the class cost to another class (i.e.: CPR) or service (i.e.: postpartum doula care).
In the special circumstances of a mother-to-be being placed on bed rest or delivering before 36 weeks before the beginning of a class series, they may apply 90% of the class fee to another class or service at Birth Day Presence. If bed rest or delivery happens while they are in the middle of a series (and they would have completed their classes before they began their 36th week), they may apply the fees from the unused portion of the class toward another class or service at Birth Day Presence.
Birth Day Presence is not responsible for providing make-ups or issuing any credit for classes missed as a result of scheduling conflicts, vacations, illness, emergencies, or other circumstances beyond our control.
