In the Tapestry Weaving class, students will learn to design and hand weave their own tapestry wall hanging. Students will learn how to use traditional tapestry techniques and apply them to their design. Some basic techniques that will be covered are soumak, warp wrapping, knotting and chaining, twining, overlay and fringing in addition to some very light color theory.
